Proven Men In-Person Study // Basham

Proven Men is a 13-week Scriptural study for men focusing on sexual integrity. In a world where basically everything we encounter contains a sexual element, this study is a valuable resource for men across all phases of life. From singles trying to maintain a Christ-centered dating life, to married men striving to faithfully honor their commitment to their wives, PM provides a group environment for men to openly discuss challenges in their lives as well as victories over sexual sin. Although the study is focused on sexual integrity, the root causes of pride and self-centeredness manifest themselves in numerous other ways in our lives, including anger, greed, and self-reliance. PM provides a SAFE and CONFIDENTIAL platform in which men openly discuss the effects of lust, pornography, and other areas of sexual sin on their lives. The ineffectiveness of self-reliance and secular programs are explored, and a move to total surrender to God for healing is practiced. As Christians, we are not meant to walk alone in our battles, and those men completing this study will find they have formed life-changing friendships where shame and guilt are defeated and healing is attained through a daily open and honest relationship with Christ.
